Job Description:
- Creating and developing new products. Improving existing products.
- Continually evaluates and searches for improvements to existing products according to changing customer needs
- Conducting market research and developing prototypes.
- Oversees product development amongst a team of individuals.
- Presents new ideas to develop product lines.
- Prepares a cost analysis on the development of a new product.
- Creates marketing campaigns designed to inform about new product.
- Ensures that every phase of a particular project proceeds as scheduled.
- Makes adjustments to a development plan whenever the current idea is not working well.
Job Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a product developer or in related field.
- Work well within a team.
- Creative and innovative thinking skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Is able to troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of a plan’s success or failure
- Stays current with the latest trends in merchandise
- Possesses strong marketing skills
- Is able to meet deadlines
